  PHILOSOPHY
The BFC Soccer Club is devoted to developing and providing the best soccer experience possible to children from pre-elementary age through high school and beyond. We seek to teach all of our youth players the fundamental skills of soccer and make soccer a pleasant, enjoyable, safe, and life long experience for all involved. The BFC Soccer Club is also devoted to developing and providing qualified and competent coaches as well as state of the art facilities suitable to our organization’s greatness.   

  MISSION
The BFC Soccer Club will develop well rounded citizens that know what success is and who will exhibit superior sportsmanship, ethical and moral behavior on and off the field. We will confront the challenges and life-lessons together. Molding our youth players to understand the value of hard work, sportsmanship, and teamwork while fostering a safe environment that allows every single member to reach their full potential in soccer and in life.

VISION
The BFC Soccer Club will strive to be one of the top programs in the Midwest as well as the United States. We will advance every one of our players (coaches) to their next level of soccer success and to compete and win local, state, regional, and national championships.

IL ODP South Update:

1) Legendary soccer  icon, Tosh Farrell, trains IL ODP South Players! 

2) January Trial Dates:

3) From the State office:

In regard to your third ODP training session, we will be building on our previous session which will start with ball manipulation. As you become more familiar with the mechanics of the foot movements the tempo of the warm up will be increasing. We will be following video 1 ball manipulation and IYSA girls passing video. Please take time to view organization and the focus points
 
Warm up 10/15 min. video 1
  • Inside, outside, laces sole toe heel both feet Inside/outside of strong and weak foot.
  • Inside/outside both feet.
  • Touch, touch, stop, step.
 
Main practice 40/45 min. Video IYSA Girls passing.
We will build the focus points up as the session progresses. Take special note of the terminology and what it is referring to i.e. positive body shape.
 
Focus points:
  • Eye contact
  • Communication
  • Timing of movement
  • Fixing your shape
  • Which foot you receive and pass with.
  • Accuracy/weight of pass
  • First touch
  • Tempo of session
 This practice/ activity is designed to draw out specific technical competence, that you will need to master, as it is what the modern game demands.
